DGHP STYLE

GUIDE

OVERVIEW

The DGHP Style Guide was created to provide a unified visual identity for the Division of Global Health Protection. It establishes design standards for internal and external communications, ensuring consistency across all materials and platforms.

Physical Style Guide

MY ROLE

  • I led the creation of the DGHP Style Guide, designing a comprehensive set of templates, a cohesive color palette, typography guidelines, and overall visual standards. I ensured that the guide was easy to use for team members, allowing for consistent application across various projects.

COLOR PALETTE

A color palette is a set of colors selected for a design project. It helps create a cohesive look and feel across all visual elements, ensuring consistency and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the design..

LOCKUP

A lockup refers to a combination of design elements—such as a logo, tagline, and symbol—arranged in a fixed layout. It ensures consistent branding across various materials.

TYPE SPECIMEN

A type specimen is a visual example that shows how a specific font looks in different sizes, weights, and styles. It helps designers see how the font works for headlines, body text, and other elements, making it easier to choose the right typeface for a project.

SHAPES

Shapes in design help create structure, highlight key elements, or guide the viewer’s eye. They contribute to the overall composition and can enhance visual balance and hierarchy.

MOCKUPS

Mockups are realistic representations of design projects used to visualize how the final product will look. They help clients and teams see the design in context before production.

OUTCOME& IMPACT

The implementation of the style guide resulted in a more unified and professional visual identity across all DGHP communications. It improved efficiency by providing clear design standards and enhanced the division’s ability to maintain consistency in branding and messaging.
